In view of depressed uranium market, Uravan Minerals Inc. seeks other businesses and opportunities outside the mineral exploration industry: "[...] due to Uravan's current financial constraints, relatively weak spot natural uranium prices and lack of access to financial markets or other sources of financing, Uravan has determined it is in the best interest of its shareholders to enter a strategic alternatives process to pursue and evaluate other businesses and opportunities outside the mineral exploration industry, including mergers or RTO transactions." On Nov. 9, 2021, Uravan Minerals Inc. and Empire Hydrogen Energy Systems Inc. announced that they have entered into an amended letter of intent dated September 30, 2021 which sets forth, in general terms, the basic terms and conditions upon which Empire Hydrogen will complete a reverse takeover of Uravan.
