Description

This picture shows part of the dam of #5 in the foreground on the right side. The lower part of the dam is relatively flat flowing (ca. 3 horizontally to 1 vertically), the upper part of the dam, not shown here, goes straight up (1 h:3 v).
The left side of the picture and the middle shows the river bed of Mailii Su river downstream of the dump. The big hill on the right side reaching far into the river valley might be able to help block the river in case of a bigger mudflow from the upstream mountain area.
